| Third Fall | | A New Generation at the Manor | | 8/29/2008 6:18 PM | This fall brought sorrow to Windle Manor - Sir Patrick, founder of the Windle Mine, died of old age. He was deeply mourned.
Sir Patricks passion was the estate - he was always planning and working on making it better. |

| | Third Fall | | Harvesting Apples | | 8/26/2008 10:17 AM |
The fall is of course a time for harvest in Windlebridge. Lots of work in the fields and in the orchards - here we see the big Manor Orchard, filled with trees heavy of red, green and yellow apples. Sir Alarick is very proud of the quality apples the Orchard produces - they sell well in Windleport, and bring good money to the family.

|
| | Third Spring | | The Windleton Riches | | 3/19/2008 11:01 AM | Every morning Sir Patrick and his youngest son Roderick go visit the venues of the Manor.
They start at the Manor Orchard.
|
The Orchard is so beautiful in the spring, with apple blossoms and bumble bees all over. The orchard is overlooking the valley and the village. |
|
|
|
|
After the Orchard they go on to the Manor Fields.
Then the most important venue, the Windle Mine:
|
A popular activity at the Mine is the Log Roll - many villagers come here to challenge the masters of the sport of Log Rolling. |
|
On the way back home to the Manor Sir Patrick also makes a quick visit to the Rose Garden, so beautifuly located with a stunning view over the Village.
Sir Patrick just recently hired Delbert Larkin, prominent member of the Garden Club, to manage the Rose Garden.

| | Third Spring | | 1000 Sim Days | | 3/19/2008 10:34 AM | I have been playing the oldest house in Windlebridge, the home of the first family - Windleton on Windle Manor (also called Windleton Manor). It takes some time to play, as it has four "businesses" - Manor Orchard, Manor Fields, Windle Mine and also the Rose Garden. I have decided to make the Windle Manor and the venues/houses that belong to it a rotation group of its own, which I play first in the hood - this makes it more logical and following the same princip as Windleport Castle in Windleport.
Besides the businesses there are also families living in various cottages and shacks belonging to the Manor - farm workers, servants and of course the miners.
It was also very symbolic that I hit the magical number of 1000 sim days played in this hood, playing the Windletons. Well, actually its more, because I dont count the days played at the businesses, but the days played in residential sim houses are now 1000..
The transition to the new expansion Free Time, was smooth. It just takes some time to go through all the hacks and such to check for updates and play test. It seems to be ok now, with some minor annoyances, which are all not deadly and will be fine after adjusting. |
| | Second Winter | | Windle Mine | | 1/1/2008 9:28 PM |
Sir Patrick opened the Windle Mine and it fast became the main source of income for the Windleton family. It takes lots of workers to run the mine, which made it necessary to build miner shacks and bring in workers from other places.

The winter was beautiful and very cold at Windleton Manor.
In the winter there is less work and more entertaining at the Manor. Lady Jane celebrated her birthday, becoming elder.
