The Windle Herald Easel Default Replacements The Windle Herald
Lady Ingrid Pleased With New Sons In Law
The Windle Herald had the opportunity to talk to Lady Ingrid, - as usual spending time in the Castle Park and Gardens - after the stressful time of three weddings in a short time. The brides, the young beautiful daughters Lennox, are now all married and have moved away from the Castle.
We asked Lady Ingrid if the Castle doesn't feel empty now? The young son, Lord Ingvar, is also away studying at Windle College.
- I have the company of my dear friends and all the birds and other pets here at the castle.. I am never lonely, answers Lady Ingrid with a somewhat sad smile. Lady Isabella is also close, in Palace Villiers, and does visit almost every day. Lady Inessa is not far away in Lake Fitz - I was just visiting the beautiful Estate. And Lady Isadora, even if she is now living in Windlebridge on Windle Manor, is not far away either. They all gave birth to their first born children and I am a proud grand mother!
- I am pleased with their husbands. So handsome and clever young men. Now, soon its time for my son to marry too! Lets see what bride we will find for him.. I can't wait to have a new generation of Lennox children in the Castle!

Tragic Fire At Windle College
Fire has destroyed two faculties at Windle College. The fire started in St Lawrence Agricultural Faculty, and spread to St Vincent Holy Seminar. Four students were killed and many more were injured.
What caused the fire is not known, but a failing stove is suspected to be the starting point.
The College will rebuild the destroyed faculties, and even add two more.
"We mourn the dead but try to look forward" said the College Chancellor in a remembrance speech after the fire.

Recolor of skill podiums
Recolors of SMB/PC Sims Skill Podiums
These two skill podiums was a part of SimsModBoard/PC Sims Law school set. They can be used for teaching crowds of sims either badges or skills. They are not updated for badges added with Freetime, or new skills addes with AL. I made two recolors "old wood", and I don't claim they are high quality, just darker and more useful in a historical setting. The original files are included, but I take no responsibility for the coding of those - use as is, the creator is Katy of Sims Mod Board, a site that is no more. They work with AL as far as I have seen.

User Startup
My user startup file
This is my user startup file. It gives you all your favorite cheats easy - there are short cuts (aliases) for the most important cheats:
(bring up cheat window with ctrl+c, then type:)
m = "moveObjects on"
m- "moveObjects off"
s "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false"
s- "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true"
f "boolprop constrainFloorElevation false"
f- "boolprop constrainFloorElevation true"
t "boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true"
t- "boolprop testingCheatsEnabled false"
d "boolprop dormSpecificToolsDisabled false"
d- "boolprop dormSpecificToolsDisabled true"
h "boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename true"
h- "boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename false"

It also allows angle rotation of stuff, and a maximum of 20 floors, and max 30 sims/30 pets (40 total) on a lot. And it has pet control and cancel pet actions as default.

You can edit the file, add or take away cheats you don´t use. Remember, if you install a new expansion/stuff pack it normally overwrites this file, and also if you use "See them" by DaveLuv. Therefor its a good idea to keep a copy saved somewhere. I just couldnt live rrm I mean, play, without this one.

Place it in your My documents/EA Games/Sims2/config folder.

Custom Paintings 1
Custom Paintings 1
This is a set of 20 custom paintings with Windlebridge motives - 12 of them are also part of the default replacements set. To install these, unrar them into /The Sims2/Paintings folder. If you dont want all of them, just delete those you don't like. With these installed your sims (with enough creativity points) can choose to paint them.

Replacement Extinguisher
Not So Red Fire Extingusher
If you think that the default game fire extinguisher is too red and bright, use this instead. I promise, the firemen, and even the sims, find it anyway. (If they don't panic.)
Installation: unrar and place in your downloads folder.

Easel Default Replacements
Default Replacements for Easel Paintings
I always disliked the default easel paintings in game, and they look especially awkward in an old sims world. There are some really beautiful replacement sets to get, but I haven't found one that isn't too modern for Windlebridge. So I finally made my own, using pictures from Windlebridge and PaintShopPro. And of course the excellent tutorial from MTS2, by SaraMK. Remember, you can only have ONE default replacement set at a time, so if you already have one you need to take it out to use this one I made.
To install, unrar the files and place them in your downloads folder.
All 12 replacements not shown in pic, will add more pics of them here later.
