Third Spring
The Windleton Riches
3/19/2008 11:01 AM
Every morning Sir Patrick and his youngest son Roderick go visit the venues of the Manor.
They start at the Manor Orchard.
Orchard
The Orchard is so beautiful in the spring, with apple blossoms and bumble bees all over. The orchard is overlooking the valley and the village.

After the Orchard they go on to the Manor Fields.

Then the most important venue, the Windle Mine:

A popular activity at the Mine is the Log Roll - many villagers come here to challenge the masters of the sport of Log Rolling.

On the way back home to the Manor Sir Patrick also makes a quick visit to the Rose Garden, so beautifuly located with a stunning view over the Village.

Sir Patrick just recently hired Delbert Larkin, prominent member of the Garden Club, to manage the Rose Garden.

Third Summer
Summer Hot Spots In Windlebridge
7/16/2008 11:11 AM
Summer in Windlebridge means lots of hard work on the fields and in the gardens. To find some relaxation and fun, sims go to cool off in the ponds and by the river.
Blossom Pond
Blossom Pond was the first community lot I built for my first medieval hood. It was built using the old pool wall cheats to make a pool, looking like a natural pond. Lots of flower bushes and trees hide the pool edges.
Swimming
Fishing Pond
Fishing Pond was built after Seasons expansions pack came, I used a lot of stuff from Wood for Sims on this lot. (And on all other lots, I love WFS walls and floors and other things old-looking.)
Swimming
River Swimming Spot
River Swimming Spot is a "fake" beach lot, made with the help of Simlogicals beach portals and sloping lots. This makes my river swimmable!
Rose Garden
Another popular summer venue is the Rose Garden at the Manor. Sims come here to socialize, hunt bugs and watch birds.
