| Third Spring | | The Dancing Pony | | 3/6/2008 3:25 PM |
Yet another restaurant/bar.. this one is next to Westby's Toy Store, and owned by a newcomer to the city, Vernon Sherry. (Sim made by Wolfenblu, can be downloaded here. Read more about the history of this sim in this thread at Simlogical forums.

This house is also built with a house facing the Square, and one towards Shoemaker Street, and a yard inbetween. Then there is a "fake" street on the side, to make the block more like a block in an old city. I use Simlogicals buyable portals to make pedestrians turn up on the Square-side and on the fake street. |

The yard - with some appletrees and an outhouse. |
I like home-owned restaurants (obviously) and use hacked restaurant objects that I downloaded from MTS2. I have had a restaurant like this in Windlebridge all since I started the hood, but the one in the village is manned with employées and family members (as chef, host ect.) When I started the new ones in Windleport, I get the NPC- chefs, hosts and waitresses spawning.. In The Hawk and the Pidgeon I got rid of them, but in this place, The Dancing Pony, I will let them stay, for now. With them as slave labour the family can concentrate on making friends and babies, and getting the business on its feet. In the future there will be family members and employées working here also, when there is no difficit of labour like there is at this time in Windleport. |

The advantage with a home-owned restaurant is all the sims coming in just to socialize while I play the family. Lots of interesting unexpected things happen, friendships, romances ect. |
 The family kitchen. |
Kay Sherry was the Fire Fighter of Windlebridge, but got married to Vernon and got a new life. I felt for her, she was SO unhappy and seemed to lose aspiration points whenever there was a fire. In short, she wasnt cut out for that line of work.
Now she is a happy mother of two, the sons Vincent and Victor. | |
| | Third Spring | | Old Town Square & Town Hall | | 3/6/2008 3:12 PM | The central spot in Old Town is of course the Square, with the impressing fountain. Fountains were not only placed for the beauty in the old days, they had a purpose as a place to fetch water when there was no running water inside the houses.
Next to the Square we have the Town Hall.
The Town Hall has a café, a big hall for meetings, and smaller for weddings. It is a community lot for now. When we have more citizens in Windleport, there will be Town Meetings held here. |
