Wedding on Windleport Castle

Lord Ingvar returned to home, after his studies at St George faculty, Windle College, and decided to marry Lady Amanda Charleston. He choosed her from very practical reasons, they had chemistry and she seemed to be the strong, ambitious woman he needed on his side in the Castle. Lady Amanda is a money sim, and will surely see to the finances of the family. She has a background in the high society (and was one of the socialites spawned with AL, called aristocrats in my sim world). Lord Ingvar totally ignored the eight all fresh beautiful high society girls (eg special made for him in CAS) and picked Amanda as his bride.

Lord Ingvar maybe didnt fall in love fast, but he decided that Lady Amanda was the right woman anyway, and did not waste any time. The proposal took place in the ballroom at the Castle Main Building.

The Ceremony took place in the Castle Chapel, with the Castle Vicar, Christopher Ballard, as a host. Lady Amanda is a strongminded and economical sim, she will not be easy to deal with..
	The gossip about the sisters of the groom being not very friendly to each other, seems to be true. How can such lovely sisters hate each other so deeply? Lord Ian was happy to see his son marry, he feels his time may be limited. Will he live to see an heir to the castle be born?
A toast for the newlyweds!	It was a beautiful fall with many nice days meeting friends in the Castle Park.

Lady Ingrid´s Garden

Lady Ingrid loves the Castle Park and Gardens, especially the garden.

Bird watching and bug hunting are popular things to do warm summer days in the Castle Garden.

A Romantic Summer

With three daughters in the right age to marry, the third summer was a very busy season at the Castle in Windleport. The youngest daughter, Isadora, was first to get engaged, to the heir of Windle Manor, Sir Alarick Windleton. Her fiancé just came back to Windlebridge from College, with a useful education in agriculture for a landowner. His parents, Sir Patrick and Lady Jane were delighted with the engagement - the connection to the powerful Lennox family was the best they could wish for their oldest son.

There were several young men that opted for the hearts and hands of the young Lennox sisters - not all of them were pleasing Lady Ingrid, here telling Alan Clay exactly what she thinks about him kissing Lady Inessa.
Jacques Villiers, the rich French adventurer made no secret of his wishes for Lady Isabella.

The Weddings

The moment when she said yes to Alarick, she knew she really loved him. He was so handsome. Lady Ingrid watched the ceremony proudly	There was a big wedding reception ball, one of many events this hot summer.

Lady Inessa married Lord Elliott Fitzroy, a landowner with a huge estate outside Windleport. The wedding of course took place in the romantic upper Castle Garden.

Who is that with the dark look on first row? Young Erick Windleton doesn't seem all that happy about this marriage..
The guests liked the exquisite wedding cake made with lots of sugar and candied violets.

And last of the Lennox weddings this summer, when the fall was almost there: Lady Isabella married Jacques Villiers.



The groom is an interesting man, said to be very very rich after his adventures on the seven seas. He is building a palace in a new part of Windleport.

Lennox - The Masters of Windleport Castle

The Castle has been there on the hill, overlooking the sea, for many centuries. The owner family has also been there for a long time - the Lennox family. We learn to know them as Lord Ian is getting older, living very happy with his wife Lady Ingrid. She is a woman with roots up in Snowy Hills, where her father was a land owner. Lord Ian and Lady Ingrid have four children, all in their teens: the young heir, Lord Ingvar, getting ready soon to enter college. Three daughters, Lady Inessa, Lady Isabella and Lady Isadora. Soon it will be needed to find husbands for them all, but not just yet.

	The pets in the Main Building are very aristocratic: the pretty white oriental Princess, who had two male kittens this spring, and the two impressing Grand Danes, Lady Godiva and Lord Nelson, who Lord Ian wants to breed. (Comment: I once knew a Grand Dane like these, his name was Vasya, he was born in Moscow but lived in Edinburg, and had blue eyes. One of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen.)

Windleport Castle - Castle Gardens

Connecting to the Castle Park, are the Castle Gardens. These have lots of fruit trees, and greenhouses for the vegetables. This is also a nice place to stroll and maybe spend some free time gardening.

Windleport Castle - Castle Park

The Castle Park is surrounded by thick walls, intriguing gates, and streaming water creating channels. This is where the inhabitants of the Castle often spend their free time, on invitation från Lady or Lord Lennox. There is fish in the channel, a chess board waits the logical minded and then there are plenty of benches just for socializing. Impressing stairs lead up to the Main Building with its more private Upper Garden, and you can also walk further down to the Castle Gardens, where there is plenty of apple trees and hothouses for growing vegetables.

The Castle Park is a beautiful place all year round.	Fishing in the Park Channel, specially created from a convenient stream nearby.
This is a place to stroll, meet friends and enjoy the beautiful flowers and statues.

Building Notes: This lot is modded with the help of Mootildas LotAdjuster/LotExpander (MTS2), still in testing and not available or download yet. It is a business lot, owned by Lord Ian, and has no telephone, and no road. It was built, road removed and moved with the help of Lot Adjuster, so that it is located in the center of the Castle.

Windleport Castle - Main Building

Windleport Castle is not one building, it's a city within the city. Up on the hill in Windleport, guarding and overlooking the sea, it rests, a grey giant of stone and wood.

The Main Building is where the owner family lives.

Richly decorated with fountains and statues, the Castle is a beatiful sight behind the thick walls.
Several gardens give the many inhabitants of the castle a possibility to rest from the daily chores and enjoy flowers and tranquility. Here the Upper Garden, the private garden of the Main Building.	Water is used also as a defense.
