| Third Fall | | Quiet Afternoons At the Vicary | | 9/9/2008 11:28 AM |
When Horace Bell returned from college and followed in his fathers footstep to become the Vicar of Windlebridge, he was warmly welcomed by the villagers. Horace is a very popular Vicar, and is often invited to the homes of the village. There are also many visitors coming to the Vicary, where they always get a nice cup of tea and comfort, when needed.

Horace and his wife Lucy have a relatively happy marriage, even if Horace also has a tendency to take the word comfort a bit far when it comes to the married wives of Windlebridge. Lucy is a love sim, but has so far seemed to be content being a nice Vicars wife. They have so far five children. |
| | Third Spring | | Kathleen Bell Passed Away | | 3/23/2008 12:17 AM |
Earlier this spring, Horace Bell returned from Windle College to continue in his father's footsteps, and become vicar in Windlebridge. He also needed a wife, as everybody kept telling him - and found one when visiting Windleport. The young Lucy Bradley worked at the Hawk and the Pidgeon there, and Horace came and swept her away from these surroundings, absolutly not suitablefor a young girl. Maybe she wasn't the daughter in law of Kathleen Bell's dreams, but as she fast gave birth to twins, Jason and Hester, Kathleen was happy anyway.

The wedding included all the important families on the guest list. |

|
Shortly after the twins were born, Kathleen Bell passed away, much missed by her children and relatives. Born Windleton, she lived all her life in her beloved Windlebridge.
She was of course buried in the family crypt in Windlebridge Church, alongside her late husband James Bell. |

| | Third Spring | | Where They Gather, In Joy and In Sorrow | | 3/22/2008 11:37 PM |
Windlebridge Church is of course the most important building in the village. This is where the villagers, farmers, better off families and all others gather to marry and to bury their dead. They go here every Sunday to listen to the vicar, and to meet other people and exhange news and gossip.

The church is a business, owned by the vicar. The income come from a ticket machine("church taxes") and from the lecture podiums (made by SMB, not sure if its upon the SimsGraveyard, which seem to be under reconstruction). I usually make my sims go visit the church on Sundays. I placed christianlovs Easy Public phone there (ugly! but needed) and with the help of this phone I can arrange parties here, not weddings, but at least parties. Once the guests arrive I click the wedding arch and everyone watches the wedding as intended.
All graves from the village (with the exception of the nuns, the convent has its own graveyard, and the gypsies, so far..) go here. I have had problems moving them lately (they disappear) but I have successfully respawned the stones using Inge Jones teleporter, the Merola controller mirror, and Pescados Lot Debugger. TY all clever modders for that!
The urns in the crypt are covered by tombs found at MTS2, here.

| | Second Winter | | Bell Family - The Vicary | | 1/2/2008 11:12 AM |
The late vicar, James Bell, died, and left the Vicary to his eldest son Horace, who still studies at Windle College, but who already took on the responsibilities for the Windlebridge church. James' widow, Mrs Kathleen Bell, resides in the Vicary with the two youngest children, Jennifer and John, when the second winter is starting. There is also a young servant boy, Charles Stokes, who Mrs Kathleen took in and gave the opportunity to study with John at the convent.
