| Second Winter | | The Barber Family | | 1/10/2008 4:19 PM |
The old barber, Joshua, married the William Tailor's sister Claire. Joshua had a big problem, he was a drinker. He actually died at The Laughing Cow, unable to stop. (Well, he somehow got stuck at the bar, lol.) His wife Claire, now dead from old age, continued the Barber business, and now his son (also Joshua) is the owner.
Joshua married Margaret Westby.
Claire Barber died of old age the second winter. The business reached level 8. Two new babies were born - Peter and Mary. |

| | Third Fall | | Glimpses From Village Life | | 10/5/2008 11:51 AM |
Life around the Village Square is tranquil and predictable - people come and go, children grow up, marry, have children, get older.. This fall the four brothers Sheldon of the village inn, The Laughing Cow, split their heritage. Oldest brother George inherited the inn and continued the business with his young wife Nettie (illegitime daughter of Jack Paynter). His brothers moved away from Windlebridge, to seek an outcome elsewhere. George an Nettie renovated the Inn, and it continued to be the popular spot to meet for the villagers and farmers of Windlebridge.

On warm nights, people are sitting on the benches around the square, just talking. Dreaming of travellling to far countries, maybe? |

Henry and Michelle started to go steady already when Henry was a teenager. She left the Barber Shop in the village to become a farmers wife. |

| | Third Spring | | West Street | | 4/1/2008 9:06 PM |
West Street: from the right: The Tailor, Thorneapple Cottage, The Bakery and The Barber |
Third Spring on West Street brought a new generation to take over in the Tailor family, when William and Alicia both passed away. Before that happened, the son Mark married Velma, and the daughter Josie married Delbert Larkin, gardener at the Windleton Manor Rose Garden. They will move to a cottage at the manor in the coming summer.
In the Bakery, David and Kristen had twin girls, named Fanny and Ginnie. Honey Baker passed away, and David inherited the business.
In the Barber family the children got older and otherwise it was business as usual - lots of clients and lots of new hairdos.
