| Third Fall | | The Seamstress Wedding | | 2/9/2009 12:49 PM | Another wedding this season was the Ashton-Paynter wedding - Jacks elder brother James married the sweet Lavinia Ashton, owner of Ashton Clothing Atelier on Old Town Square. Wedding was held in Hotel Albertina, and the newlyweds moved to new living quarters nearby the store. James used his inherited money to buy four houses in this block.

 The bride wore an exquisite wedding dress, (she is THE fashion seamstress of Windleport, after all). This model was later ordered by many other brides, among them the wealthy Mrs Ellen Hood. |

When their parents died, much too early, Lavinia Ashton became responsible both for her own welfare as well as her little sister Laura's. This forced her to seek a way to make money and the way open to her was to open a Clothing Atelier.
 Lavinias skills made all the fine ladies of Windleport come to her store, like the young Ladies from the Castle.
Cora Sparks from Windlebridge looks in awe at the little girl, conversating the rich ladies without hesitation. |

 The small house by the Old Town Square was perfect for Lavinia's business needs. |
Lavinia dreams of a life full of love and adventure, but for now the store comes first. She and Laura needs security and a stable financial situation. No one will help them, but themselves. What will the future bring them?
Note: Laura and Lavinia are made of a downloaded sim, made by Kamikitten/MTS2. I KNOW she is maybe more Victorian than medieval, but she was too adorable to not have in the game :) |
