| | | Windlebridge Easel Replacements |
I always disliked the default easel paintings in game, and they look especially awkward in an old sims world. There are some really beautiful replacement sets to get, but I haven't found one that isn't too modern for Windlebridge. So I finally made my own, using pictures from Windlebridge and PaintShopPro. And of course the excellent tutorial from MTS2, by SaraMK. Remember, you can only have ONE default replacement set at a time, so if you already have one you need to take it out to use this one I made.
To install, unrar the files and place them in your downloads folder.
All 12 replacements not shown in pic, will add more pics of them here later.

| | | Replament Extinguisher |
If you think that the default game fire extinguisher is too red and bright, use this instead. I promise, the firemen, and even the sims, find it anyway. (If they don't panic.)
Installation: unrar and place in your downloads folder. | Replacements |
| | | Custom Paintings 1 |
This is a set of 20 custom paintings with Windlebridge motives - 12 of them are also part of the default replacements set. To install these, unrar them into /The Sims2/Paintings folder. If you dont want all of them, just delete those you don't like. With these installed your sims (with enough creativity points) can choose to paint them. | Paintings |
| | | My user startup file | This is my user startup file. It gives you all your favorite cheats easy - there are short cuts (aliases) for the most important cheats:
(bring up cheat window with ctrl+c, then type:)
m = "moveObjects on"
m- "moveObjects off"
s "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false"
s- "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true"
f "boolprop constrainFloorElevation false"
f- "boolprop constrainFloorElevation true"
t "boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true"
t- "boolprop testingCheatsEnabled false"
d "boolprop dormSpecificToolsDisabled false"
d- "boolprop dormSpecificToolsDisabled true"
h "boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename true"
h- "boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename false"
It also allows angle rotation of stuff, and a maximum of 20 floors, and max 30 sims/30 pets (40 total) on a lot. And it has pet control and cancel pet actions as default.
You can edit the file, add or take away cheats you don´t use. Remember, if you install a new expansion/stuff pack it normally overwrites this file, and also if you use "See them" by DaveLuv. Therefor its a good idea to keep a copy saved somewhere. I just couldnt live rrm I mean, play, without this one.
Place it in your My documents/EA Games/Sims2/config folder. | Other |

They are not updated for badges added with Freetime, or new skills addes with AL. I made two recolors "old wood", and I don't claim they are high quality, just darker and more useful in a historical setting. The original files are included, but I take no responsibility for the coding of those - use as is, the creator is Katy of Sims Mod Board, a site that is no more. They work with AL as far as I have seen. | Misc recolors |

I have been working on a rather large project with recolors of stuff for a nursery/kids room. First, here is a recolor of Rebecah AnimatedRockingHorse, mesh found here:
The white wood and two other of the woods are textures from PiggisSims, the Recolor Queen - you can find more recolors with these textures (and I mean MORE) here: http://www.piggis-sims.net/And the paint got the inspiration from Danikats pastel walls, found here: http://sumomo.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=292762Oh, and one more thing, in the rar there is a version called "test" which contains a multicolor version (in bright colors) which can easily be used to make more recolors. | Nursery recolors |

So it started with the drapes, and then Rebecahs bed.. then I realized I needed a lot of other stuff to match them. So I started this big project of pastel recolors for a nursery, and here is the third part, this is the Southern Beauty (Pink) recolors. On the pic above you can see assorted baby items with these recolors. Many of them get their recolors from either the Base Game Crib or the Base Game Changing Table. There are also rugs and curtains that get their recolors from the beddings - so all those kinds of objects will automatically use these recolors. On the picture, among other things, you can see som parts of Cashcrafts Victorian Nursery, and some other of Rebecahs Baby Furniture, all which uses the textures from the Base Game Baby Objects.
