- Amy Sudder always called herself "Mrs Sudder" but no one ever met "Mr Sudder". Coming to the village with three children with dubious origins - two daugthers, Violet and Honey, and a son, Fredrick. Fredrick has a striking resemblance to the old sir Roderick Windleton - something that made the gossip run wild.. Maybe not a son, but a nephew.. Did the old landowner help Amy to obtain the farm? Where did she come from, really? Was it true that she was a madame of a house of bad reputation in her youth? So many questions.
