Jason was born at Windleport Castle. Jason's father is Flame Hunter and his mother is Mrs Maureen Windleton Hunter. His maternal grandparents were Sir Patrick Windleton and Lady Jane Norman Windleton. He has five brothers and two sisters, named Ross, Stephen, Jeffrey, Rodney, Richard, Patricia and Flavia. He is the fifth oldest of the eight children.
